we want you back is an underage drinking prevention awareness campaign that, while targeting young people under 21, raises the community consciousness about the issue. By implication, the campaign also encourages adults to be responsible.

It is our goal to encourage the community, schools, youth organizations, the faith community, businesses, and others to partner with us in telling our youth how important they are to us, how much we care, and how we desperately want them to come back to us safe and sound.  Without the help of others, we can only do so much. We need the help of parents, siblings, and mentors to help youth understand that we do, indeed, want them back. We challenge adults to talk to youth about how important they are to the community. It is imperative that we let kids know how much we want them back!

The we want you back campaign was designed to allow the message to come from many voices within the community. In collaboration with Project Extra Mile, organizations and businesses can create new ways to present the campaign in their community.
