The American Academy of Pediatrics is the leading professional association of pediatricians in the United States. It has take a position that the alcohol industry should restrict advertising and product placement in venues in which more than 10 percent of the audience are children and adolescents.

With more than 210,000 members, the AMA is the largest association of physicians in the United States. The organization has called for a statutory ban on all alcohol advertising except for inside retail and wholesale outlets.
The Community Guide: www.thecommunityguide.org
The Community Guide was created by the Community Preventive Services Task Force, an independent, non-federal, unpaid panel of public health and prevention experts that provides evidence-based findings and recommendations about community preventive services, programs, and policies to improve health. The information they provide includes articles on alcohol taxes, limiting alcohol sales, dram shop liability and enforcement of laws prohibiting alcohol sales to minors.
National Academy of Sciences:
This organization has called for the alcohol industry to place ads in only magazines and television programs with a 25% or less underage audience, with an eventual goal of 15% or less.
