2011 Youth Legislative Day

Youth Legislative Day allows high school students to expand their understanding of state government and develop the knowledge, confidence and ability to discuss current issues facing youth in Nebraska.

Students get the opportunity to:

• meet with their senators
• share concerns on issues affecting their community
• ask their senators questions about the legislative process
• inform lawmakers on the negative effects of underage drinking
